STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Do not stack pallets. Shelter the stock from rain, moisture, dust.
Products can be stocked at -30° C to 80°C.
Before use, stock the rolls 24 hours at production workshop temperature. (Between 15°C and 30 °C).
The PVC fades in contact with some amines: we recommend a storage away from polyurethane (PU) foam in a ventilated area away from sources of excessive heat. A gaz heating system or deficient heat engine may have an impact on this phenomenon.
SECURITY RULES:
Our product is not subjected to material safety data sheet and does not contain any toxic elements according to the current regulations. However, we advise the following information in case of fire in the warehouse:
– Decomposition products: carbon oxide, carbon dioxide, hydrochloric acid
– Extinguishment means: sprayed water; A, B, C powder; carbonic foam
CLEANING:
Clean regulary with a Ph neutral soap and a soft brush. Always rinse with clear water.Avoid soaking the material with excessive water quantities..
Reminder: do not use strong solvents, detergents, any wax and abrasive cleaning materials .
PRODUCTION CONDITONS:
The product must wait enough time in order to release roll up tensions before cutting pieces.
The product must wait enough time in order to release roll up tensions before cutting pieces. Storage can lead to some marking foils on PVC. It would disappear:– When material is rolled out on a plane surface for some hours at ambient temperature (about 8 hours at 20°C).
– When material is heated during production process.
Do not use PU foam containing amine (mainly tertiary amine).
Do not mix batches on the same seat cover.
For cutting parts, take into account the shrinkage of the product that will occur with time. Please note also that it could be in the 2 directions: warps and weft.
Technical datas are defined according to international standards so at 23°C +/-2°C. The lower the temperature is, the harder the product will become. The higher the temperature is, more elastic the product will be. There is no major modification of properties between 10°C and 50°C. Out of this range, risks can occur (cracks, high elongation…).
Temperature effected by radiant or convection during transformation of our products shall not exceed 105°C for more than 1 minute. Gloss surface change and loss of grain indicate that highest conditions have been reached.
Highest temperature to be applied on backing side is 140°C for a maximum of 2 minutes.
